The apartments in Enchanté have been designed by the architect, Metaphor Design + Architecture P L, to have regular and efficient layouts.
Typical units in the freehold development are located on the 3rd level to the 15th level, while the 5 Bedroom Penthouse is found on the 16th floor.
With the developer targeting individuals or families who prefer bigger apartments in an exclusive and quiet area, the unit sizes of all apartments are bigger than 1,000 square feet. The smallest apartment is that of Type B, which has an area of 93 square metres (1,001 square feet).
A luxurious feature of Enchanté is that every unit enjoys the use of a private lift.
A Household Shelter (HS) has been incorporated into the floor plan of every unit. Alternatively known as a bomb shelter, the household shelter is useful for storage of luggage beds and other items. Another popular usage of the household shelter is designating it as a helper’s room.
Type A1 is the 3 Bedroom Dual Key Floor Plan.
As this is a dual-key apartment, there will be 2 different access from the private lift lobby, with one access leading to the 2 bedroom unit and the other access leading to the studio.
The 2-Bedroom unit is spaciously designed with an enclosed U-shaped kitchen and a household shelter. There is even a yard area, which is separate from the kitchen.
Both bedrooms are able to accommodate a queen-sized bed.
With the aircon ledge being situated behind Bathroom 2, the windows in Bedroom 2, similarly to the Master Bedroom, are full height windows. The location of this air-con ledge also allows Bath 2 to have a window, ensuring that it can be naturally ventilated.
There are 2 layouts for the 3 Bedroom + Home Office. Type A is the bigger floor plan type between the two.
The floor plan of Type A is very similar to that of the Dual Key unit (Type A1).
With this unit type only requiring one foyer area instead of two foyer area as is needed by the Dual Key apartment, the foyer area which is used by the 2-Bedroom unit of the Dual Key apartment is designated as the home office area in Type A.
For Type A1, the Master Bedroom is situated in the same area of the Studio Bedroom of the Dual Key apartment. The area which houses the Pantry in the Dual Key apartment will be the Walk-in Dresser area for the Master Bedroom of Type A.
There will be only 2 apartments for Type A, and they are found on Levels 10 and 11.
The 2nd type of Floor Plan for the 3 Bedroom + Home Office, Type B has the smallest floor area.
This 3 Bedroom layout has a wide frontage, with the living/dining room, Home Office, and all 3 bedrooms having the same facing.
The living and dining room will be very bright during the day as it will be lit by natural lighting coming 2 sides – from the living/dining room windows on one side and from the balcony sliding windows perpendicular to the living/dining room windows.
There is no yard area for this unit type.
The 2 common bedrooms will share a common bathroom in Type B, compared to all 3 bedroom being en-suite in Type A.
For the bathrooms, the Master Bathroom will be naturally ventilated, while the common bathroom will be using mechanical ventilation.
The lower level of the 3 Bedroom Duplex apartment houses the living/dining room, kitchen, Bedroom 2, Bath 2, Household Shelter and the private lift lobby.
As the living/dining room have a double volume ceiling, it will be be very bright during the daytime with two times the amount of natural lighting filtering through the living/dining room windows, and also from the sliding windows of the balcony.
The upper level houses Bedroom 3, the Master Bedroom and the Master Bathroom.
The Master Bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and the room is able to accommodate a King-sized bed.
The bedroom configurations in the 4 Bedroom + Home Office layout are Master Bedroom, Junior Master Bedroom and 2 common bedrooms.
Both the Master Bedroom and the Junior Master Bedroom are en-suite.
There is option for Bedroom 2 to be en-suite as the adjoining Bath 2 has 2 doors, with one of the door leading directly to Bedroom 2.
All 3 bathrooms have windows, which thus allows for natural ventilation to take place in the bathrooms.
The Master Bedroom, the Junior Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2 can fit a queen-sized bed, and the windows in these 3 rooms are floor-to-ceiling.
The Master Bedroom would be especially bright during the day as it will be lit by natural lighting entering from the full height windows on one side and from the balcony windows perpendicular to the full height windows.
The Home Office is positioned in between Bedroom 3 and the Master Bedroom. It can be integrated to the space of the Master Bedroom by shifting the door of the Master Bedroom to the external wall of the Home Office. When the area of the Home Office is used this way, it can be used as a dressing room, besides the more common usage of it as home office or study.
The kitchen area in the 4 Bedroom + Home Office layout is split into a dry kitchen area and wet kitchen area.
With the dry kitchen being situated in the air-conditioned area of the apartment, one can comfortably prepare light food on the countertop of the dry kitchen, while interacting with family members or guests sitting in the dining/living room. The countertop of the dry kitchen can also serve as a breakfast table and sit 2 pax.
The Yard area of the apartment is found next to the wet kitchen.
The penthouse of Enchante, a 5 bedroom + Home Office layout, is located on the 16th floor of the development.
The entire strata area of the Enchante penthouse is spread across a single level, which is quite rare. The floor area of penthouse apartments are typically spread across 2 or 3 levels.
All bedrooms in the unit have full height windows, with the exception of the Bedroom 3.
As is befitting of the Master Bedroom, there are full-height windows on 2 sides of the room, allowing it to have the benefits of dual views from the room. It will also be the brightest room in the day as having the biggest areas of windows would allow the most natural lighting into the room. The occupant of the Master Bedroom can enjoy the luxury of using the bathtub in the Master Bathroom.
All the 3 bathrooms in the unit have windows, which permits natural ventilation.
