Under the 2019 URA Draft Master Plan for the 2 towns, the Singapore Government has plans to improve the recreational and community facilities of Tanglin and Novena.
Tanglin and Novena already enjoy great connectivity. With the advent of the North-South Corridor, and the opening of both the Stevens and Napier MRT stations on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL), connectivity within the 2 towns will be further enhanced. In addition, residents would be able to travel to other locations in Singapore more conveniently.
The addition of the Gallop extension to the Botanic Gardens would add more recreational space for residents to enjoy in.
